I live in Oakland Park. KMART at 6th and Oakland Park Blvd. may be a good PICK UP ZONE for a bus. They have a huge parking lot. I imagine we need permission to leave 30+ cars there.....I can check that out if you want. barbara33334

I live in Pompano/Lighthouse Pt. area. We can meet at CitiCenter at the SE corner of the lot, on the Sears side. Park near the WaMu bank. We can all ride the Broward County Transit or carpool. The U.S. 1 "Breeze" route leaves at 4:13pm and arrives downtown at 4:57pm. It runs every 30 minutes. The fare is $1.25 each way. You can also take routes 10 and 11. They run every 30 minutes and leave earlier. Check the BCT website- www.broward.org/bct. Tom33064

I would like that map of parking places and possible buses going down. As soon as I see who is coming I will encourage car pooling and giving each other cell phone numbers so you can hook up with someone if you want to leave early and others if you want to stay and change your riding pool coming back. That and an invitation and I will be all set. I could make up my own invitation but I want to get all the details correct. Carol

I will encourage our group from Pompano to meet at 33rd and Federal where we had the NE Region Campaign for Mc Cain recently. Many people are aware of this area. This is for car pooling.Carol

I live near Oakland Park Blvd. and S.R.7 (441). Walmart has a large lot here as does the shopping center directly east of here across 441.
